Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sami Sfar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jean al-Munsif Bey came out and tried to block the shot, but Sami Sfar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. When Habib Badra fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sawbridgeworth's protests and gave Habib Badra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sawbridgeworth's Habib Badra got a free kick in the 8th minute. Hamed Hermassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean al-Munsif Bey having to make a save. In the 15thth minute of the game Blaise Rehouma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ampthill FC's Haythem Jebali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haythem Jebali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaise Rehouma in the 16th minute of play. If Blaise Rehouma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamed Hermassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean al-Munsif Bey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamed Hermassi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Mohamed Chedli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blaise Rehouma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haythem Jebali having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Sawbridgeworth's Blaise Rehouma made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haythem Jebali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blaise Rehouma in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haythem Jebali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 43 minutes, Blaise Rehouma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sawbridgeworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blaise Rehouma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blaise Rehouma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Sfar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rachid Abdelmajid shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Oussama Tonniche's late challenge caught a Sawbridgeworth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oussama Tonniche helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Oussama Tonniche got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hedi Amira Karoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Haythem Jebali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haythem Jebali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blaise Rehouma, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sawbridgeworth's Blaise Rehouma suffered a concussion after 71 minutes and had to leave the field. Sami Sfar hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Oussama Tonniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamed Hermassi in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean al-Munsif Bey saved Sawbridgeworth from getting behind. Oussama Tonniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean al-Munsif Bey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamed Hermassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
