Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Forest Hill United's Bechir Kalaï started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mohamed Makhlouf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dali El Ouaer having to make a save. Dali El Ouaer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hatem Mnari, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Hatem Mnari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dali El Ouaer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Makhlouf in the 10th minute of play forced Forest Hill United's goalkeeper Dali El Ouaer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forest Hill United's Dali El Ouaer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Makhlouf in the 12th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Forest Hill United's Bechir Kalaï slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zine Bourguiba. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. In the 19th minute, Riadh Belgacem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Walthamstow's goalkeeper Zine Bourguiba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Walthamstow's Patrick Sebki got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Chedi Jbara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walthamstow and the Forest Hill United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Walthamstow fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Makhlouf in the 32nd minute of play forced Forest Hill United's goalkeeper Dali El Ouaer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mohamed Makhlouf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hatem Mnari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Majed Ben Negrouz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes Forest Hill United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hamdi Chedli who took care of the corner kick. 48 minutes into the match, Forest Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Makhlouf came free, but Dali El Ouaer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hatem Mnari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Forest Hill United's goalkeeper Dali El Ouaer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Makhlouf. Riadh Belgacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riadh Belgacem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zine Bourguiba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Forest Hill United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Majed Ben Negrouz hit a great ball. The supporters of Walthamstow booed when Forest Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Kasraoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Makhlouf might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dali El Ouaer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Makhlouf ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohamed Makhlouf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dali El Ouaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Majed Ben Negrouz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Walthamstow's zone, Riadh Belgacem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zine Bourguiba came out of the goal and Riadh Belgacem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Makhlouf might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dali El Ouaer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Makhlouf ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes, Mohamed Makhlouf made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Forest Hill United's Dali El Ouaer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mohamed Makhlouf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
