An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamad El Naili in the 9th minute of play forced Fakenham City's goalkeeper Khaled Sellimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Fakenham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Ali Bourguiba to maneuver through the defense. Karim Mokthar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Khaled Sellimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karim Mokthar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Oswestry AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamad El Naili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Fakenham City's Oussama Saidi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hedi Amira Ouertani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohamad El Naili got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Khaled Sellimi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
