Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Southwold's Majed Ben Jemmali started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ayèche Gharbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Paulo Sellimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Ayari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Sellimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Paulo Sellimi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southwold's Ali Ayari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ayèche Gharbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Majed Ben Jemmali in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fethi Sellami saved Wigston AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chedi Sioud during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chedi Sioud hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Majed Ben Jemmali reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fethi Sellami. The goal made the score 1-0. Wigston AFC's Mehdi Mzali got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fethi Sellami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Majed Ben Jemmali in the 31st minute of play. Ayèche Gharbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Paulo Sellimi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ayèche Gharbi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southwold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ayèche Gharbi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Majed Ben Jemmali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fethi Sellami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Southwold's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Sellimi came free, but Ali Ayari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Majed Ben Jemmali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Mehdi Mzali made a precise shot to the right of Ali Ayari. Southwold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 67 played minutes, Southwold's Hassan Laabidi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fethi Sellami came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Southwold reached it. After a rather tough play, Wigston AFC's Riadh El Hadj Kacem got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Mehdi Mzali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Sellimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Ayari having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Southwold's goalkeeper Ali Ayari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Mzali. Ali Ayari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehdi Mzali in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Sellimi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Ayari. That made the score 1-2 in the 84 minute of play. The supporters of Southwold booed when Wigston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chedi Sioud didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Wigston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ayèche Gharbi came free, but Fethi Sellami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Paulo Sellimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Ayari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oussama Ayari hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wigston AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
