He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Birch House reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Warminster's zone, Fraj Cherif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Issam Tonniche came out of the goal and Fraj Cherif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Chedi Benzekri came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Birch House fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chedi Benzekri couldn't finish the play. If Fraj Cherif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Warminster's goalkeeper Issam Tonniche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chedi Benzekri . In the 27th match minute, Birch House was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Belkahia to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, one of Birch House:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Belkahia in the 34th minute of play forced Warminster's goalkeeper Issam Tonniche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdi Jaber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hichem Zidane struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Sofiène Nafti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warminster. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Said Ben Achab during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Birch House getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Said Ben Achab hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Hichem Zidane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofiène Nafti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Warminster were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamdi Jaber to make the kick off. Mohamad Cherni charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamad Cherni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mohamad Cherni hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hichem Zidane's late challenge caught a Birch House's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Birch House supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Warminster's performance. The match ended with a win for Warminster.
