Rachid Dhafer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Paulo Abdelkader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Winkleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Mongi Chikhaoui came free, but Paulo Abdelkader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidmouth AFC's Najeh Karoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Bnouni in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th play minute Mongi Chikhaoui came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Abdelkader. 1-0. Mongi Chikhaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Paulo Abdelkader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Mehdi Saidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Winkleigh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Sidmouth AFC's Muhammad Boumnijel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulo Abdelkader. In the 28th match minute, Sidmouth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zine BenAmor to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Hadda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Najeh Karoui having to make a save. Mohamed Bnouni struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Najeh Karoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winkleigh. 45 minutes into the match, Winkleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Dhafer came free, but Paulo Abdelkader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rachid Dhafer was the one to do the kick off. Patrick Hadda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Najeh Karoui when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th minute Rachid Dhafer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Abdelkader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Abdelkader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mongi Chikhaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Mohamed Bnouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Najeh Karoui having to interfere. Mongi Chikhaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Paulo Abdelkader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Sidmouth AFC's goalkeeper Najeh Karoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Hadda . Sidmouth AFC's Rachid Dhafer suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mokhtar Zaalani charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mokhtar Zaalani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Winkleigh getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Mokhtar Zaalani hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Mongi Chikhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sidmouth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mongi Chikhaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Abdelkader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sidmouth AFC had won after a very even match.
