Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chokri Nafti started the match with the kick off. Jean Benslimane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mongi Chikhaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Chokri Nafti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Najeh Karoui having to interfere. Chokri Nafti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Najeh Karoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Benslimane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Dhafer in the 12th minute of play. If Rachid Dhafer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mongi Chikhaoui scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean Benslimane , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Med Jomaa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Mongi Chikhaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burnham City's Jean Benslimane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmed Abdeljilil took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Najeh Karoui. Najeh Karoui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee gave Sidmouth AFC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Muhammad Boumnijel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Burnham City's Jean Benslimane . 1-2. In the 34th minute of the match Mohieddine Essafi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Najeh Karoui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Burnham City's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Dhafer came free, but Jean Benslimane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Sidmouth AFC's goalkeeper Najeh Karoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmed Abdeljilil . After 39 played minutes Sidmouth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Boumnijel. Rachid Dhafer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rachid Dhafer to strike the kick off in the second half. Mongi Chikhaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jean Benslimane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Burnham City's zone, Rachid Dhafer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Benslimane came out of the goal and Rachid Dhafer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mongi Chikhaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Burnham City got a freekick which was hit by Anis Mechergui. Mongi Chikhaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Benslimane having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Sidmouth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chokri Nafti came free, but Najeh Karoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mongi Chikhaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Benslimane having to interfere. When Zine BenAmor fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sidmouth AFC's protests and gave Zine BenAmor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Sidmouth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zine BenAmor to maneuver through the defense.
