Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chaouki Ben Ben Saada started the match with the kick off. Chedli M'hadhebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chedli M'hadhebi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sabri Bachraoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldham FC. The supporters of Oldham FC booed when Islington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Sfar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Chaouki Ben Ben Saada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Ali Jemmali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oldham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islington FC the free kick. Chaouki Ben Ben Saada might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hatem Ben Marzouki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chaouki Ben Ben Saada ran back to his position shaking his head. Oldham FC's Hatem Ben Marzouki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fatah Bouazizi in the 34th minute of play. Fatah Bouazizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Ben Marzouki having to interfere. Sabri Bachraoui made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Chedli M'hadhebi sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th match minute, Islington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radhi Souayati to maneuver through the defense. Chedli M'hadhebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 51 played minutes Islington FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhamid Abdelmajid. Ahmed Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fatah Bouazizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahi Agrebi's late challenge caught a Islington FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahi Agrebi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oldham FC's Bahi Agrebi got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Islington FC's Chaouki Ben Ben Saada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hatem Ben Marzouki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabri Bachraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chedli M'hadhebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radhi Souayati charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radhi Souayati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Islington FC's Radhi Souayati got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Chedli M'hadhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Oldham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Ladgham to maneuver through the defense. Hatem Ben Marzouki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fatah Bouazizi in the 82nd minute. Hatem Ben Marzouki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaouki Ben Ben Saada's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Hatem Ben Marzouki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaouki Ben Ben Saada, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Chaouki Ben Ben Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sabri Bachraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Islington FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
