Driss Younes stood somewhat misplaced when Salah Belhaj Benachour came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 48 minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salah Belhaj Benachour was the one to do the kick off. Salah Belhaj Benachour might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Driss Younes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salah Belhaj Benachour ran back to his position shaking his head. Driss Younes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adel Ouakili 's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Michel Haggui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Driss Younes. Elsdon United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
