Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abderrahim Bey started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abderrahim Bey in the 4th minute of play forced Sawtry's goalkeeper Mohamed Habib Benfrej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Sawtry got a freekick which was hit by Sami Decastel. Jamel Mnari, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoubeir Salem got free with Mohamed Habib Benfrej in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zoubeir Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdallah Dhafer made a kick off. Abderrahim Bey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. In the 89th minute Zoubeir Salem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Habib Benfrej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sawtry's Alaeddine Hermassi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kais Attouga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Eastbourne FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mohamed Salah Marzouki hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
