Muhammad Ghodbane s short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Hatem Mzali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st match minute, Birkenhead City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoubair Belgacem to maneuver through the defense. Chokri Salem's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Hatem Mzali on his right side and into the goal. 32 minutes into the game it was 2-0.
