Huyton AFC's Faouzi Sioud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riadh Koissy in the 8th minute of play. Habib Miaâdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wissem Essafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wissem Essafi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Habib Miaâdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zine Baccouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wissem Essafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Miaâdi having to interfere. Wissem Essafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Woodbridge booed when Huyton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Saidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Riadh Koissy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Woodbridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With his leg Habib Miaâdi managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Huyton AFC's Zine Baccouche fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Riadh Koissy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed BenAmor made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Huyton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wissem Essafi to maneuver through the defense. Zine Baccouche succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zine Baccouche in the 65th minute of play forced Woodbridge's goalkeeper Habib Miaâdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Huyton AFC's Sabri Korbi got a free kick in the 70th minute.
