Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Barnet United's Borhene Yahia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Hamadi Bargougui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Khcharem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnet United's goalkeeper Ahmed Khcharem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hamadi Bargougui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ahmed Khcharem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ismail Belkahia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Khcharem was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Hamadi Bargougui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamadi Bargougui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Khcharem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismail Belkahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Khcharem having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, Luton United's Hamadi Bargougui made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Khcharem was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamadi Bargougui in the 38th minute of play forced Barnet United's goalkeeper Ahmed Khcharem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Borhene Yahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute of the match, Borhene Yahia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Khaled Mellouli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Luton United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luton United's Hamadi Bargougui got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Muhammad Youssef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Ismail Belkahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Khcharem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khaled Mellouli came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barnet United's Borhene Yahia. But to his dismay, Borhene Yahia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Borhene Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fadhel Baya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khaled Mellouli having to interfere. Ismail Belkahia struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ahmed Khcharem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luton United. Hamadi Bargougui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ahmed Khcharem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Luton United's goal looked a bit too open when Borhene Yahia came free, but Khaled Mellouli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Hamadi Bargougui notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barnet United's Ahmed Khcharem. Ahmed Khcharem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamadi Bargougui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ahmed Khcharem made a huge save.
