The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Locksheath's zone, Habib Cherif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lotfi Ghannem came out of the goal and Habib Cherif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lotfi Ghannem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houcine Abdallah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Habib Cherif scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lotfi Ghannem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Locksheath's Anouar Gmamdia got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Jamel Akid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Padstow AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locksheath the free kick. Sadok Khalfaoui made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Yassine Mestiri sent off a good shot on target. When Ahmed Jaber fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Padstow AFC's protests and gave Ahmed Jaber a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Padstow AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ahmed Jaber hit a great ball. Habib Cherif scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lotfi Ghannem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Houcine Abdallah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lotfi Ghannem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadok Khalfaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mokhtar Litaiem in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Padstow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziad Adhoum to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Mohammed Slimane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locksheath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohammed Slimane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Padstow AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Jaouhar Sboui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadok Khalfaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yassine Mestiri in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Padstow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jamel Akid. Sadok Khalfaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yassine Mestiri in the 57th minute of the match. Padstow AFC's Sadok Khalfaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mokhtar Litaiem in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mokhtar Litaiem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sadok Khalfaoui was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The supporters of Locksheath booed when Padstow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaouhar Khelil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Padstow AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
