Ayèche Jelassi started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anis Korbi in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amine Gasmi saved Guildford City from getting behind. Torpoint FC's Abdelwahab Jemaiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayèche Jelassi in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chaouki Ben Ammar during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ayèche Jelassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelwahab Jemaiel having to interfere. Abdelwahab Jemaiel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Dali Dhouib sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Anis Korbi made a precise shot to the right of Amine Gasmi. Guildford City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ayèche Jelassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Abdelwahab Jemaiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Chatti hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Ayèche Jelassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelwahab Jemaiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anis Korbi was the one to do the kick off. Dali Dhouib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute Ayèche Jelassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelwahab Jemaiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anis Korbi in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amine Gasmi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anis Korbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Amine Gasmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anis Korbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wissem Khaled kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Torpoint FC defense, Ayèche Jelassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdelwahab Jemaiel. The Torpoint FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdelwahab Jemaiel should have stopped the shot. Amine Gasmi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salah Belhaj Kalaï in the 82nd minute. Amine Gasmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anis Korbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Torpoint FC's Anis Korbi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amine Gasmi. Amine Gasmi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 96th match minute, Guildford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wissem Khaled to maneuver through the defense. Torpoint FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
