Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cambridge's Sami Thabet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Cambridge's zone, Abderrahman Bargougui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amine Ben Younes came out of the goal and Abderrahman Bargougui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Adel Mouelhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hichem Radhouani was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cambridge's zone, Abderrahman Bargougui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amine Ben Younes came out of the goal and Abderrahman Bargougui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adel Gharbi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Riadh Sélim Haj Ali, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Thabet in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hichem Radhouani saved Standish United from getting behind. Sami Thabet scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hichem Radhouani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Standish United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cambridge were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sofiene Kasraoui made a kick off. A collision led to Cambridge getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Issam Khalfaoui hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiene Kasraoui in the 58th minute of play forced Cambridge's goalkeeper Amine Ben Younes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sofiene Kasraoui struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Amine Ben Younes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Standish United. Tarak Ayari hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hichem Radhouani acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hamdi Souissi. Sami Thabet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hichem Radhouani having to interfere. When Tarak Ayari fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Standish United's protests and gave Tarak Ayari a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cambridge booed when Standish United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarak Ayari didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehdi Falhi during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, one of Standish United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Standish United. Hichem Radhouani went to the wrong direction when Hamdi Souissi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Standish United booed when Cambridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdi Souissi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Standish United's goalkeeper Hichem Radhouani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Issam Khalfaoui. In the 89th minute, Majed Ben Adhoum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hichem Radhouani made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Adel Mouelhi sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Abderrahman Bargougui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amine Ben Younes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Adel Mouelhi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Hichem Radhouani when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
