Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fatah Hammami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walid Mechemeche having to make a save. Walid Mechemeche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel Bourguiba in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Adel Bourguiba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broadstairs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adel Bourguiba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Broadstairs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofiane Jaziri to maneuver through the defense. Walid Mechemeche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adel Bourguiba, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Aymen Jemmali hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Staines FC's Walid Mechemeche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adel Bourguiba in the 26th minute of play. If Fatah Hammami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Staines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Yahia to maneuver through the defense. Walid Mechemeche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fatah Hammami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Sofiane Jaziri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staines FC's Muhammad Slim got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhammad Slim made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Broadstairs's goal looked a bit too open when Mohieddine Chedli came free, but Jose Haggui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fatah Hammami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broadstairs's supporters rose to their feet, but Fatah Hammami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walid Mechemeche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Ouertani hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Muhammad Slim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Haggui having to interfere. Fatah Hammami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fatah Hammami came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Broadstairs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fatah Hammami couldn't finish the play. Fatah Hammami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Broadstairs's Adel Bourguiba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walid Mechemeche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Fatah Hammami left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Broadstairs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Broadstairs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Broadstairs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
