Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hatem Mhedhebi got the match started through his kick off. Hatem Mhedhebi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Helmi Ladgham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Denholme's Ahmed Boumnijel got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Hatem Mhedhebi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Crendon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hatem Mhedhebi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Long Crendon getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ahmed Mechemeche hit a great ball. Emir Agrebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Boumnijel in the 19th minute of play. If Fethi Sélim Haj Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Long Crendon getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bahi Bargougui hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Hatem Mhedhebi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helmi Ladgham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatem Mhedhebi in the 29th minute of the match. With his leg Emir Agrebi managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Denholme's Sadok Bouazizi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fethi Sélim Haj Ali's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Emir Agrebi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sadok Bouazizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denholme's Sadok Bouazizi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Mohamed Diwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Fethi Sélim Haj Ali struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Emir Agrebi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denholme. In the 57th minute Sadok Bouazizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir Agrebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadok Bouazizi in the 63rd minute of play forced Long Crendon's goalkeeper Emir Agrebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helmi Ladgham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hatem Mhedhebi's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Hatem Mhedhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Denholme's Ahmed Boumnijel got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Denholme booed when Long Crendon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Sebki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emir Agrebi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadok Bouazizi in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Mohamed Diwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Sadok Bouazizi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Emir Agrebi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sadok Bouazizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Long Crendon's Mohamed Diwa got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Long Crendon's goal looked a bit too open when Fethi Sélim Haj Ali came free, but Emir Agrebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Denholme fans cheered their team off the field, for while Long Crendon had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
