The tension between the Handsworth AFC and the Hatfield AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute Hatfield AFC were awarded a corner. Noureddine Jouili tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Abdelaziz Hakimi . An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Houcine Decastel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hatfield AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Houcine Decastel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelaziz Hakimi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riadh Ben Younes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Tahar Fitouri came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hatfield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahar Fitouri couldn't finish the play. Handsworth AFC's Abdelaziz Hakimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Houcine Decastel in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Handsworth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oussama Namouchi. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hatfield AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Handsworth AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
