In the 25th match minute, Springfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamed Fitouri to maneuver through the defense. If Habib Rehouma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youssef El Hadj Kacem in the 37th minute of play forced Crosby FC's goalkeeper Mahmoud Ayari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Youssef El Hadj Kacem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahmoud Ayari was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When Youssef El Hadj Kacem came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Springfield fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salah Boumnijel was the one to do the kick off. Crosby FC's Mahmoud Ayari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youssef El Hadj Kacem in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Crosby FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hassan Jazi hit a great ball. Youssef El Hadj Kacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Ayari having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Habib Rehouma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crosby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Hedi Mestiri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salah Boumnijel in the 88th minute of the match. Youssef El Hadj Kacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Ayari having to interfere. Hamdi Mnari kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Salah Boumnijel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salah Boumnijel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hedi Mestiri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
