Brahim Bourguiba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Marzouki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fethi Jennet kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Raouf Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Bouazizi having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Emir Akimi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mustafa Bouazizi, 1-0. In the 18th minute, Mohamed Boularès ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brahim Bourguiba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, Kennington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emir Sanchou to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Hitchin United's Nejib Ishola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Brahim Bourguiba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed Marzouki went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Hitchin United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Emir Akimi scored to the left of an out of position Mustafa Bouazizi, making the score, 2-2. In the 34th minute Ahmed Marzouki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brahim Bourguiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Kennington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Boularès came free, but Brahim Bourguiba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brahim Bourguiba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Boularès went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Habib Mkacher's late challenge caught a Kennington FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habib Mkacher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Habib Mkacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emir Akimi came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kennington FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Akimi couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Boularès fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brahim Bourguiba having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kennington FC's zone, Ahmed Marzouki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brahim Bourguiba came out of the goal and Ahmed Marzouki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Boularès received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Brahim Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Ahmed Marzouki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brahim Bourguiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emir Akimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mustafa Bouazizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hitchin United's Habib Mkacher got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Habib Mkacher off the ground. 69 minutes into the game, one of Hitchin United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mustafa Bouazizi went to the wrong direction when Anouar El Ouaer was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Hitchin United's goal looked a bit too open when Emir Akimi came free, but Mustafa Bouazizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caid Essebsi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Brahim Bourguiba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mohamed Boularès was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emir Akimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brahim Bourguiba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Boularès in the 90th minute. Mustafa Bouazizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Akimi , who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hitchin United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
