Majed Gmamdia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Majed Gmamdia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jean Ben Doulet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Ben Doulet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Majed Gmamdia, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Majed Gmamdia scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean Ben Doulet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noureddine Mechergui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khaled Mzali's late challenge caught a Old Clipstone City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khaled Haithem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Ali Nafti's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Noureddine Mechergui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chudleigh's Jean Ben Doulet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Khaled Haithem made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Pierre Ben Dhia sent off a good shot on target. Adel BenAmor walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Old Clipstone City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Mohamed Ali Nafti scored to the left of an out of position Khaled Haithem, making the score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noureddine Mechergui made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Pierre Ben Dhia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khaled Haithem was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Mohamed Ali Nafti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khaled Haithem having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Mohamed Ali Nafti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Khaled Haithem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Pierre Ben Dhia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khaled Haithem. Old Clipstone City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierre Ben Dhia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 88th minute Noureddine Mechergui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Ben Doulet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chudleigh's Férid Ben Soliman got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
