Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Habib Belkahia started the match with the kick off. Habib Melliti made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Mahmoud Amor sent off a good shot on target. When Elsdon's Habib Belkahia in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slough's goalie prevented a goal. Mohamed Mzoughi might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Habib Melliti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Hédi Kasraoui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chedly Cherif was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chedly Cherif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hédi Kasraoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes, Ali Chouchane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elsdon and the Slough players grew even worse after the yellow card. Habib Belkahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Chedly Cherif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Elsdon getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Helmi Memmi hit a great ball. The supporters of Slough booed when Elsdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Chouchane didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Mohamed Benslimane shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Habib Melliti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Mzoughi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th play minute Hédi Kasraoui came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Chedly Cherif. 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Elsdon's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmoud Amor came free, but Habib Melliti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahmoud Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Mohamed Mzoughi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Melliti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chedly Cherif made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hédi Kasraoui in the 68th minute. Mohamed Mzoughi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Melliti having to interfere. Mahmoud Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Habib Melliti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mohamed Benslimane fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slough's protests and gave Mohamed Benslimane a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Slough's Mohamed Benslimane got a free kick in the 79th minute. Zied Sanchou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chedly Cherif read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Hédi Kasraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chedly Cherif having to interfere. When Mahmoud Amor came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Slough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahmoud Amor couldn't finish the play. Habib Melliti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elsdon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
