An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelaziz Majeri in the 9th minute of play forced Seascale City's goalkeeper Aymen Chimane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Gharbi's late challenge caught a Witham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Gharbi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Seascale City getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mustafa Gharbi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Abdelaziz Majeri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aymen Chimane was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Witham City defense, Mustafa Gharbi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mohamed Mouaia Sellami. In the 32nd minute Abdelaziz Majeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aymen Chimane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelaziz Majeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen Chimane having to interfere. Witham City's Abdelaziz Majeri got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Ben Basli to make the kick off. Mohamed Mouaia Sellami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Ben Basli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Seascale City's zone, Abdelaziz Majeri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aymen Chimane came out of the goal and Abdelaziz Majeri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hédi Mnari got free with Aymen Chimane in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelaziz Majeri in the 59th minute of play forced Seascale City's goalkeeper Aymen Chimane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ben Basli in the 63rd minute of play forced Witham City's goalkeeper Mohamed Mouaia Sellami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelaziz Majeri took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aymen Chimane . With a little luck, Seascale City's Aymen Chimane got control of the ball when Hédi Mnari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Ben Basli might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Mouaia Sellami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Ben Basli ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Seascale City booed when Witham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarak Aleya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes in the game, Mustafa Ben Basli dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Aymen Chimane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelaziz Majeri, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Witham City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
