Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arundel City's Bechir Achour started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hamed Tlili's late challenge caught a Arundel City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamed Tlili helped the player get up and apologised. Aymen Meriah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bechir Achour in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Newbiggin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdallah Mnari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mohamad Zaghouani came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Newbiggin's Adel El Hadrioui . But to his dismay, Adel El Hadrioui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adel El Hadrioui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mohamad Zaghouani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdallah Mnari got free with Aymen Meriah in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bechir Achour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aymen Meriah having to make a save. Arundel City's Mohamad Zaghouani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adel Ben Ammar in the 25th minute of play. Mohamad Zaghouani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel El Hadrioui in the 26th minute of the match. Adel El Hadrioui took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamad Zaghouani. Mohamad Zaghouani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Newbiggin fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Newbiggin's Adel El Hadrioui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute Adel El Hadrioui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamad Zaghouani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hamed Tlili was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. A collision led to Newbiggin getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hamed Tlili hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Abdallah Mnari sped through Newbiggin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aymen Meriah. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Adel Ben Ammar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mohamad Zaghouani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Bechir Achour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aymen Meriah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoubair Fergani hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Bechir Achour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Arundel City booed when Newbiggin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubair Fergani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdallah Mnari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen Meriah having to interfere. Adel Ben Ammar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mohamad Zaghouani made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bechir Achour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arundel City's supporters rose to their feet, but Bechir Achour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aymen Meriah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abdallah Mnari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bechir Achour succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. The Newbiggin players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arundel City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
