With an all-out effort, Kingswear's Bahi Bourchada threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bahi Ben Mbarek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the match, Walshaw's goalkeeper Bahi Bourchada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hassan Amri. Adel Nefzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hosni Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jemeleddine Belgacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bahi Ben Mbarek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walshaw's Bahi Bourchada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ahmad Chérif fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walshaw's protests and gave Ahmad Chérif a yellow card for diving instead. When Bahi Ben Mbarek came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Kingswear fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahi Ben Mbarek couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes, Mohamed Salah Gmamdia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walshaw and the Kingswear players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jemeleddine Belgacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hosni Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jemeleddine Belgacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Hassan Amri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingswear's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassan Amri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahi Bourchada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Walshaw's Lassaad Limam got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Walshaw were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Hassan Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walshaw's Bahi Bourchada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahi Ben Mbarek in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kingswear's Slaheddine Bouazizi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Lassaad Limam sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kingswear's Hosni Bourguiba didn't even have to move. Jemeleddine Belgacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hosni Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hassan Amri in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahi Bourchada saved Walshaw from getting behind. Jemeleddine Belgacem might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hosni Bourguiba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jemeleddine Belgacem ran back to his position shaking his head. Fatah Kadri kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Hassan Amri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bahi Bourchada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kingswear fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Walshaw were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
