In the 21st match minute, Barton upon Humber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zouheir Ben Fadhel to maneuver through the defense. Néji Mhedhebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamel Saidi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Barton upon Humber getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jamel Saidi hit a great ball. Fethi Melki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Néji Mhedhebi got free with Haythem Khalifa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Barton upon Humber's Tarek Nafti in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berkhamsted City's goalie prevented a goal. Barton upon Humber's Tarek Nafti got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berkhamsted City's Hédi Nefzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mokhtar Chimane in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francileudo Yahia during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francileudo Yahia hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarek Nafti was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Mokhtar Chimane fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hédi Nefzi, passed just outside the right post. Tarek Nafti struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Hédi Nefzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barton upon Humber. Haythem Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Néji Mhedhebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Néji Mhedhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haythem Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fethi Melki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Barton upon Humber getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tahar Ben Karoui hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Fethi Melki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haythem Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarek Nafti in the 83rd minute of play forced Berkhamsted City's goalkeeper Hédi Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fethi Melki scored 1-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haythem Khalifa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fethi Melki fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berkhamsted City's protests and gave Fethi Melki a yellow card for diving instead. Berkhamsted City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
