Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Montassar Clayton kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Timsbury booed when Shepton Mallet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khaled Haggui didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Fethi Salem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shepton Mallet's supporters rose to their feet, but Fethi Salem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beji Ishola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Montassar Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute of the match, Ahmed Nafti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haythem Trabelsi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Shepton Mallet getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hamdi Mustapha hit a great ball. Montassar Clayton struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Haythem Trabelsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timsbury. In the 19th minute, Timsbury's Montassar Clayton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Ahmed Nafti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fathi Chouchane charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fathi Chouchane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Fathi Chouchane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salah M'Hedhbi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salah M'Hedhbi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 28 minutes into the game, one of Timsbury:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Issam Jomaa in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beji Ishola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Issam Jomaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beji Ishola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Issam Jomaa ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fethi Salem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Montassar Clayton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes, Hamdi Mustapha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shepton Mallet and the Timsbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Shepton Mallet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdi Mustapha to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th play minute Issam Jomaa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Beji Ishola. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fethi Salem in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beji Ishola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Shepton Mallet's zone, Montassar Clayton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haythem Trabelsi came out of the goal and Montassar Clayton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Shepton Mallet getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Moez Badra hit a great ball. Montassar Clayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haythem Trabelsi having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Shepton Mallet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdi Mustapha to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Fethi Salem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beji Ishola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Shepton Mallet supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shepton Mallet would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
