Atef Bouzayane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youssef Ben Sboui, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Barnoldswick's Néji Karoui got a free kick in the 26th minute. Francileudo Sanchou kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Khaled Ammar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atef Bouzayane skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habib Selliti got free with Sami Nafti in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Youssef Ben Sboui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atef Bouzayane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.
If Habib Selliti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fathi Boumnijel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Atef Bouzayane made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Youssef Ben Sboui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Youssef Ben Sboui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atef Bouzayane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fathi Boumnijel came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Filey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fathi Boumnijel couldn't finish the play. Hamed Bensedrine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sami Nafti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Hamed Bensedrine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Filey FC's Sami Nafti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fathi Boumnijel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filey FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
