Englefield Green City's Hamdi Benslimane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hatem Mechergui in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Hatem Mechergui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Benslimane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Didcot City got a freekick which was hit by Chaouki Chiba . In the 19th minute, Chaouki Chiba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamdi Benslimane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Chaker Baccouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatah Laabidi having to interfere. Mohamed Mestiri's late challenge caught a Englefield Green City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Mestiri helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Didcot City got a freekick which was hit by Jamel Azaïez. Thanks to some nice moves Hatem Bouzaiene could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Fatah Laabidi however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute Hatem Mechergui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Benslimane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hatem Bouzaienes short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Fatah Laabidi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chaouki Chiba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Didcot City's Fatah Laabidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Younes in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chaker Baccouche in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fatah Laabidi saved Didcot City from getting behind. Hatem Mecherguis short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Hamdi Benslimane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chaouki Chiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hamdi Benslimane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Chaouki Chiba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Didcot City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaouki Chiba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes Didcot City got a freekick which was hit by Hamdi Cherif. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaker Baccouche in the 65th minute of play forced Didcot City's goalkeeper Fatah Laabidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chaker Baccouche in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fatah Laabidi saved Didcot City from getting behind. Englefield Green City's Hamdi Benslimane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Englefield Green City from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Hatem Mechergui notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Englefield Green City's Hamdi Benslimane . Hamdi Benslimane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chaker Baccouche struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fatah Laabidi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Englefield Green City. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Didcot City's goalkeeper Fatah Laabidi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hamdi Benslimane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaouki Chiba in the 83rd minute of the match. Hamdi Benslimane was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Hatem Mechergui capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hatem Mechergui really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Brahim Boularès charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brahim Boularès the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaker Baccouche in the 95th minute of play forced Didcot City's goalkeeper Fatah Laabidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Didcot City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Didcot City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
