In the 13th minute, Hatem Ouakili left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Great Staughton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, David Negrouz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Staughton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St Austell AFC the free kick. David Negrouz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Ajmi Kefacha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wissem Mzali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Haykel Sellami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wissem Mzali. Great Staughton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haykel Sellami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, St Austell AFC's Moncef Agrebi got control of the ball when Hatem Ouakili tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wissem Mzali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ajmi Kefacha in the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ajmi Kefacha in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wissem Mzali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hatem Ouakili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Moncef Agrebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half St Austell AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdallah Chedli was the one to do the kick off. Hatem Ouakili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdallah Chedli struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Moncef Agrebi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Staughton. St Austell AFC's Moncef Agrebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hatem Ouakili in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to St Austell AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Med Jaziri hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Haykel Sellami fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 69 minutes into the game, Mohieddine Tlili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St Austell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Staughton the free kick. Moncef Agrebi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdallah Chedli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haykel Sellami was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. St Austell AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Haykel Sellami struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Wissem Mzali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St Austell AFC. Haykel Sellami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wissem Mzali having to interfere. Ajmi Kefacha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wissem Mzali firmly grabbed it by the left post. The St Austell AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
