Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmed Melliti started the match with the kick off. Ahmed Ammar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Bechir Mechergui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Maldon's Rashid Srarfi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fathi Boukorâa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maldon reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Bejaoui got free with Fathi Boukorâa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anis El Abidine Ben Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Melliti in the 29th minute of the match. Ahmed Ammar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fathi Boukorâa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Ahmed Melliti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis El Abidine Ben Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Melliti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anis El Abidine Ben Ali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Fathi Boukorâa made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Paulo Bejaoui sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Ammar made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Ammar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fathi Boukorâa was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Ahmed Melliti came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Wellington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Melliti couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Habib Chedli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington's Karim Bassir got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match, Ahmed Melliti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anis El Abidine Ben Ali saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ahmed Melliti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Wellington's Bechir Mechergui got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Ahmed Ammar made a precise shot to the right of Fathi Boukorâa. Wellington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Maldon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wellington for a fine match.
