In the 4th minute, Mohamed Ali Chikhaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Laamari Bargougui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consett United's supporters rose to their feet, but Laamari Bargougui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jalel Sfar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Tlili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalel Sfar having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keighley AFC's goalkeeper Jalel Sfar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Tlili in the 16th minute of play forced Keighley AFC's goalkeeper Jalel Sfar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Walid Khcharem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francileudo Badra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmed Mouelhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Tlili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jalel Sfar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Consett United booed when Keighley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Mzali didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Keighley AFC's Mohamad Abdi got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Consett United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chems Ben Salah to maneuver through the defense. Consett United's Francileudo Badra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelaziz Mkacher in the 32nd minute of play. When Keighley AFC's Abdelaziz Mkacher in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Consett United's goalie prevented a goal. Keighley AFC's Walid Khcharem got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keighley AFC's Jalel Sfar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Tlili in the 38th minute of play. With his leg Jalel Sfar managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Consett United's Ahmed Mouelhi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abdelaziz Mkacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Francileudo Badra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jalel Sfar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Tlili in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to Keighley AFC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ahmed Mzoughi hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walid Khcharem was the one to do the kick off. Francileudo Badra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walid Khcharem, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the Consett United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
