Ahmed Melliti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francileudo Badra having to interfere. Karim Bassir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francileudo Badra having to make a save. When Consett United's Ali Tlili in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wellington's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Consett United's Ali Tlili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fathi Boukorâa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Wellington getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kaies Mokthar hit a great ball. Ahmed Melliti had several of the Consett United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Francileudo Badra as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 44 minutes, Bechir Mechergui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wellington and the Consett United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wellington's Bechir Mechergui got a free kick in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mongi Azzaro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mongi Azzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Melliti made a kick off. Ahmed Mouelhi took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fathi Boukorâa. Fathi Boukorâa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Consett United's Francileudo Badra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Melliti in the 59th minute of play. Fathi Boukorâa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Tlili, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Bechir Mechergui was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Consett United booed when Wellington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bechir Mechergui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Tlili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fatah Dermech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Tlili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fathi Boukorâa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Consett United's Ali Tlili got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ahmed Mouelhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Wellington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Melliti to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Wellington's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Tlili came free, but Fathi Boukorâa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fathi Boukorâa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Tlili, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Ali Tlili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fathi Boukorâa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Karim Bassir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
