Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mongi Yahia kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Evington AFC's zone, Bahi Basli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Sellami came out of the goal and Bahi Basli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Sellami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahi Basli, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Radhi Namouchi charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radhi Namouchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Oakham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Evington AFC:s goal. Pierre Sellami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mongi Yahia in the 16th minute of play. When Issam Jbara fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Evington AFC's protests and gave Issam Jbara a yellow card for diving instead. Issam Jbara hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bahi Basli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mongi Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pierre Sellami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mongi Yahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emir Ladgham in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Said Ben Stambouli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mongi Yahia in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Sellami saved Evington AFC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mongi Yahia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Sellami was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Oakham's Said Ben Stambouli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emir Ladgham in the 37th minute of play. Bechir Sassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Said Ben Stambouli made a huge save. If Bahi Basli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emir Ladgham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Emir Ladgham came free, but Said Ben Stambouli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes Oakham's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beji Mestiri who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mourad Jemâa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Emir Ladgham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mongi Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emir Ladgham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Said Ben Stambouli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Bahi Basli could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Pierre Sellami however easily saved by the left post. Bahi Basli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Bahi Basli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahi Basli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bechir Sassi in the 70th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Said Ben Stambouli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Said Ben Stambouli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bechir Sassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zied Abdeljilil kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Beji Mestiri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Said Ben Stambouli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bechir Sassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emir Ladgham came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Evington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Ladgham couldn't finish the play. If Bahi Basli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Mongi Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Sellami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oakham's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
