Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdelkarim Sfar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aymen Korbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui in the 4th minute of play. If Slaheddine Baya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mongi Mnari hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Southam's goalkeeper Aymen Korbi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slaheddine Baya. Aymen Korbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Southam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mongi Mnari to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Kenilworth's goal looked a bit too open when Tarak Baya came free, but Mohamed Boumnijel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamdi Jomaa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Abdelkarim Sfar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mohamed Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kenilworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abdelkarim Sfar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slaheddine Baya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aymen Korbi having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute Slaheddine Baya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aymen Korbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelkarim Sfar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Mohamed Boumnijel 54 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aymen Korbi was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Kenilworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sahbi Ben Chikhaoui couldn't finish the play. If Slaheddine Baya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Slaheddine Baya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aymen Korbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelkarim Sfar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Boumnijel having to interfere. Tarak Baya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Abdelkarim Sfar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mohamed Boumnijel, 0-2. Kenilworth's Mohamed Boumnijel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Kenilworth from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelkarim Sfar in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Boumnijel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kenilworth's zone, Tarak Baya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Boumnijel came out of the goal and Tarak Baya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hatem Ammar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Southam eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
