Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mohamed Nefzi got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Maher Maatouk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Trabelsi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zoubeir Jemâa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mohamed Jebali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fraj Jbara in the 13th minute of play. Donnington's Wissem Cherif suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Pierre BenAmor fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faversham's protests and gave Pierre BenAmor a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Faversham got a freekick which was hit by Pierre BenAmor. Mohamed Jebali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre BenAmor in the 18th minute. Donnington's Mohamed Jebali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraj Jbara in the 24th minute of play. When Bechir Cherni fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donnington's protests and gave Bechir Cherni a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Donnington getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bechir Cherni hit a great ball. Mohamed Jebali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre BenAmor in the 29th minute. Mohamed Jebali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fraj Jbara in the 33rd minute of play. Pierre BenAmor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Jebali having to make a save. If Pierre BenAmor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Bechir Cherni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Pierre BenAmor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faversham's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre BenAmor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Jebali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Donnington fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Faversham. Karim Lamouchi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mohamed Jebali. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fraj Jbara to make the kick off. Fraj Jbara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Maher Maatouk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Faversham's David Trabelsi got control of the ball when Maher Maatouk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Donnington got a corner. Faversham's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Habib Ammar ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Maher Maatouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Trabelsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haykel Mellouli in the 79th minute of play. Pierre BenAmor struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mohamed Jebali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faversham. Mohamed Jebali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fraj Jbara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Pierre BenAmor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faversham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
