Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adel Namouchi kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Withington's goalkeeper Haythem Khaled had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hedhili Boumnijel. If Ahmed al-Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hedhili Boumnijel struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Haythem Khaled didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lytham. The supporters of Withington booed when Lytham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fethi Jaziri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamad M'henni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caid Chérif. Lytham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Adel Namouchi came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Withington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adel Namouchi couldn't finish the play. Lytham's Hedhili Boumnijel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Withington's Adel Namouchi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caid Chérif narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Boumnijel in the 23rd minute of play forced Withington's goalkeeper Haythem Khaled to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Withington got a freekick which was hit by Ali Meriah. Ahmed al-Amin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caid Chérif having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Adel Namouchi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caid Chérif was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hedhili Boumnijel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haythem Khaled having to interfere. Haythem Khaled made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Hedhili Boumnijel sent off a good shot on target.
Ahmed al-Amin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Caid Chérif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Mohamed Boumnijel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Mohamed Boumnijel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haythem Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmed al-Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caid Chérif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adel Namouchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adel Namouchi came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Withington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adel Namouchi couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Lytham's Caid Chérif got control of the ball when Ahmed al-Amin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Adel Namouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caid Chérif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed al-Amin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Caid Chérif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amir Ishola's late challenge caught a Lytham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amir Ishola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Amir Ishola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adel Namouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caid Chérif having to interfere. Withington's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
