The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kaies Sayah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamel BenAmor in the 12th minute of play forced Bourne End's goalkeeper Mongi Robime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oadby AFC's zone, Ahmed Nefzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhammad Bouzayane came out of the goal and Ahmed Nefzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aymen Laabidi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Oadby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aymen Laabidi couldn't finish the play. When Oadby AFC's Aymen Laabidi in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bourne End's goalie prevented a goal. Mongi Robime didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aymen Laabidi went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Ahmed Nefzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Bouzayane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Nefzi in the 37th minute of the match. Ahmed Nefzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Bouzayane having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aymen Laabidi to make the kick off. Bourne End's Mongi Robime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymen Laabidi in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Bourne End's Mongi Robime got control of the ball when Kaies Sayah tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aymen Laabidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Nefzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Muhammad Bouzayane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamel BenAmor's late challenge caught a Bourne End's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamel BenAmor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Kamel BenAmor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aymen Laabidi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mongi Robime saved Bourne End from getting behind. A collision led to Oadby AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hatem Ghannouchi hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Bourne End got a freekick which was hit by Hadj Salem M'hadhebi. In the 78thth minute of the game Caid Khalifa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oadby AFC's Muhammad Bouzayane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Nefzi in the 80th minute of play forced Oadby AFC's goalkeeper Muhammad Bouzayane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaies Sayah hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bourne End's Mongi Robime proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Bourne End from getting a goal against them. After 85 played minutes Bourne End got a freekick which was hit by Ali Aleya. Ahmed Nefzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muhammad Bouzayane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmed Nefzi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Aymen Laabidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Oadby AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
