After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Lotfi Chiboub managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Nantwich City's Muhammad Cherif slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abderrahim Idir. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 15th match minute, Nantwich City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Bourguiba to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Lotfi Chiboub left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bourne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Kamel Aouichaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lotfi Ghodhbane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Yahia in the 23rd minute of the match. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Yahia in the 25th minute of play. Bahi Cherifs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Abderrahim Idir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 28 played minutes Bourne got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Aouichaoui. 32 minutes into the game, Bahi Cherif cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Abderrahim Idir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Nantwich City getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mohamed Rokki hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Mohamed Yahia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bourne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Bourne's Lotfi Chiboub got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohamed Yahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Yahia made a kick off. Lotfi Ghodhbane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lotfi Chiboub in the 53rd minute. Bahi Cherif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrahim Idir having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Nantwich City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Bourguiba to maneuver through the defense. Bourne's Abderrahim Idir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahi Cherif in the 64th minute of play. Lotfi Chiboub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lotfi Ghodhbane having to interfere. Mohamed Yahia succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nantwich City's goalkeeper Lotfi Ghodhbane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Bourne's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Cherif came free, but Abderrahim Idir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nantwich City's Bahi Cherif got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Mohamed Yahia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lotfi Ghodhbane. Nantwich City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Yahia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Nantwich City's Lotfi Ghodhbane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Nantwich City from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bourne had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
