After 2 played minutes Stoneleigh got a freekick which was hit by Mohamad Ben Salah. When Hassene Ghannem came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Bourne End fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassene Ghannem couldn't finish the play. If Hassene Ghannem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Stoneleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Majdi Merdassi came free, but Mohamed El Hadrioui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed El Hadrioui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassene Ghannem in the 10th minute of play. Mohamed Salem was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aziz Mabrouk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Stoneleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Hassene Ghannem came free, but Mohamed El Hadrioui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmed Trabelsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fatah Ben Aïssa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bourne End's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mohamad Ben Salah was slow to take the kick. During this time Stoneleigh's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Stoneleigh's Mohamed Fitouri getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Mohamed El Hadrioui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Majdi Merdassi in the 35th minute of the match. The referee gave Stoneleigh a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mohamad Ben Salah, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bourne End's Mohamed Salem. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Majdi Merdassi made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassene Ghannem got free with Mohamed El Hadrioui in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Aziz Mabrouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Ahmed Trabelsi made a precise shot to the right of Mohamed Salem. Bourne End's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Mohamed El Hadrioui had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Majdi Merdassi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Aziz Mabrouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mongi Brahem struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Mohamed Salem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoneleigh. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Aziz Mabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoneleigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Mabrouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Salem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes Bourne End got a freekick which was hit by Karim Massaoud. Aziz Mabrouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sami Ben Salah charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sami Ben Salah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karim Massaoud's late challenge caught a Stoneleigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Massaoud helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Karim Massaoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 103 minutes into the match, Bourne End's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Mabrouk came free, but Mohamed Salem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stoneleigh's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
