Mongi Mkacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Ben Salah having to interfere. Mongi Mkacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Jersey St Aubin's goalkeeper Sabri Ben Salah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habib Belgacem. With a little luck, Jersey St Aubin's Sabri Ben Salah got control of the ball when Habib Belgacem tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mongi Mkacher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabri Ben Salah was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Zouheir Boumnijel's late challenge caught a Jersey St Aubin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Stoneleigh's zone, Hédi M'Hedhbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Férid Bassir came out of the goal and Hédi M'Hedhbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hamed Yahyaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jersey St Aubin's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamed Yahyaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Férid Bassir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sahbi Ben Mechemeche's late challenge caught a Jersey St Aubin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 39th minute, Hédi M'Hedhbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hamed Yahyaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Kaies Ghodbane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes, Jersey St Aubin's Khaled Mustapha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Férid Bassir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jersey St Aubin reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mongi Mkacher to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Stoneleigh getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sabri Ben Salah went to the wrong direction when Kaies Ghodbane was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jersey St Aubin's zone, Mongi Mkacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Ben Salah came out of the goal and Mongi Mkacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Habib Belgacem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoneleigh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Belgacem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Stoneleigh's Mongi Mkacher in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jersey St Aubin's goalie prevented a goal. Sabri Ben Salah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mongi Mkacher's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Belgacem in the 94th minute of play forced Jersey St Aubin's goalkeeper Sabri Ben Salah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Férid Bassir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamed Yahyaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Férid Bassir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamed Yahyaoui in the 99th minute of the match. The Jersey St Aubin players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Stoneleigh from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
