Bedford AFC's Sadok Jemmali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Bedford AFC from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Bedford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zoubeir Kerrit came free, but Sadok Jemmali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chedly Essediri struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Habib Chiba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedford AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Bucknell AFC's zone, Sahbi Ben Ben Saada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Habib Chiba came out of the goal and Sahbi Ben Ben Saada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Issam M'hadhebi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bucknell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bedford AFC the free kick. The supporters of Bedford AFC booed when Bucknell AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Issam M'hadhebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sahbi Ben Ben Saada scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Habib Chiba , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Bucknell AFC's Zoubeir Kerrit slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sadok Jemmali. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zoubeir Kerrit to make the kick off. Habib Chiba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sahbi Ben Ben Saada in the 51st minute of the match. Radhi Salem charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radhi Salem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radhi Salem kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Karim Trabelsi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bedford AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karim Trabelsi in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tarak Sellimi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bucknell AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarak Sellimi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sadok Jemmali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Sadok Bouazizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bucknell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bedford AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bucknell AFC's Sadok Bouazizi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sahbi Ben Ben Saada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Habib Chiba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
