The audience thought a goal was coming when Majed Youssef got free with Adel Mahouachi in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Cressage's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zied Boumnijel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th minute, Zied Boumnijel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zied Boumnijel made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Majed Jaber could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Taher Miaâdi however easily saved by the left post. Zied Boumnijel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adel Mahouachi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Majed Jaber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cressage's supporters rose to their feet, but Majed Jaber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taher Miaâdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adel Mahouachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Majed Youssef in the 68th minute of the match. Majed Youssef struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Adel Mahouachi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kettering United. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Majed Youssef in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adel Mahouachi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raouf Aouichaoui hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Zied Boumnijel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Mahouachi having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cressage eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
