Aymen Gammoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shuaibu Essafi having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Canvey Island's goal looked a bit too open when Aymen Gammoudi came free, but Shuaibu Essafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Said Ben Nefzi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Canvey Island's Shuaibu Essafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adel Jendoubi in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Said Ben Nefzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canvey Island's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bristol Centre the free kick. The supporters of Bristol Centre booed when Canvey Island was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Said Ben Nefzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Adel Ghigani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bristol Centre and the Canvey Island players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Bristol Centre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adel Ghigani to maneuver through the defense. Adel Jendoubi struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Shuaibu Essafi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bristol Centre. If Aymen Gammoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Canvey Island's Helmi Belgacem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmed Jazi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shuaibu Essafi was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Aymen Gammoudi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aymen Gammoudi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 57 minutes into the game, Wissem Hicheri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ahmed Jazi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aymen Gammoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muhammad Bensedrine during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Canvey Island:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bristol Centre:s goal. When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Bristol Centre's Abdallah Beya got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Shuaibu Essafi. Ahmed Jazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wissem Hicheri in the 85th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play Canvey Island's Said Ben Nefzi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th minute, Said Ben Nefzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shuaibu Essafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aymen Gammoudi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
