Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Borhene BenAmor made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Avebury getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Nizar Fitouri hit a great ball. The supporters of St Austell AFC booed when Avebury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ammar Ben Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes Avebury's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dali Bouzaiene who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Avebury's Nizar Fitouri got a free kick in the 71st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mokhtar Boularès couldn't finish the play.
