Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hatem Akid started the match with the kick off. Baston's Mourad Jaidi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Baston from getting a goal against them. If David David had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David David in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mourad Jaidi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hedhili Jemaiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Hatem Akid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Baston's Karim Clayton got a free kick in the 26th minute. Mourad Jaidi made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Hedhili Jemaiel sent off a good shot on target. Hedhili Jemaiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mourad Jaidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knapton United's David David got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bahi Benachour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Hamdi Sellimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Baston's Mourad Jaidi got control of the ball when Hedhili Jemaiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bahi Benachour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David David to strike the kick off in the second half. Mourad Jaidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David David, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 53rd minute of the match Karim Clayton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karim Clayton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Knapton United booed when Baston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Clayton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game David David who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baston's Mourad Jaidi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bahi Benachour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Baston's zone, Hedhili Jemaiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Jaidi came out of the goal and Hedhili Jemaiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David David in the 60th minute of play forced Baston's goalkeeper Mourad Jaidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mourad Jaidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David David, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, David David managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knapton United's supporters rose to their feet, but David David was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mourad Jaidi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bahi Benachour took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed Mechergui. Mohamed Mechergui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mourad Jaidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hedhili Jemaiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Moez Mor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habib Jaziri kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Hedhili Jemaiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knapton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hedhili Jemaiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahi Benachour was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Baston supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Baston would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
