Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Freshwater FC's Adel Mhedhebi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Helmi Saidi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Freshwater FC's goalkeeper Mondher Ishola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahmoud Saidi. 14 minutes into the game, Abdallah M'henni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Freshwater FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beverley the free kick. In the 17th minute, Beverley got a penalty, and Jaouhar Omrani placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Adel Mhedhebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sadok Dhouib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francileudo Makni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helmi Saidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mondher Ishola having to interfere. Mondher Ishola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmi Saidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Freshwater FC booed when Beverley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hatem Nafti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Abdallah Limam sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Beverley's Sadok Dhouib didn't even have to move. In the 38th minute, Hatem Nafti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute of the match Abdallah Limam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sadok Dhouib showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Francileudo Makni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Freshwater FC's zone, Helmi Saidi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mondher Ishola came out of the goal and Helmi Saidi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helmi Saidi to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Beverley's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Mhedhebi came free, but Sadok Dhouib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Freshwater FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Beverley a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaouhar Omrani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Freshwater FC's Mondher Ishola. 2-1. After having played for 68 minutes, Adel Mhedhebi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freshwater FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adel Mhedhebi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Beverley's goalkeeper Sadok Dhouib had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francileudo Makni. In the 72nd minute Adel Mhedhebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadok Dhouib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes, Francileudo Makni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freshwater FC and the Beverley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mahmoud Saidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mondher Ishola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Francileudo Makni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freshwater FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francileudo Makni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Beverley's Helmi Saidi in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Freshwater FC's goalie prevented a goal. Beverley's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
