Ahmed Nafti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Laabidi in the 19th minute of the match. During the 22nd minute of the match Pierre Aleya completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pierre Aleya a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 22nd minute, Pierre Aleya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sefton AFC's goalkeeper Ahmed Nafti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Brahim Mestiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brahim Mestiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hamza Slim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sefton AFC's zone, Mohamed Laabidi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Nafti came out of the goal and Mohamed Laabidi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Aymen Dali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmed Nafti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Laabidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Brahim Mestiri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamza Slim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Brahim Mestiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. North Petherton United's Hamza Slim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save North Petherton United from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sefton AFC's Brahim Mestiri got a free kick in the 65th minute. Brahim Mestiri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 73rd minute, Mohamed Mechergui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Brahim Mestiri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sefton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brahim Mestiri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boubaker Ben Aïssa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Laabidi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ahmed Nafti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Petherton United. Mohamed Laabidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Nafti having to interfere. If Boubaker Ben Aïssa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sefton AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing North Petherton United to leave the ground with a draw.
