Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Haythem Ben Yahia made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes North Petherton United got a freekick which was hit by Tarak Trabelsi. Hamza Slim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haythem Ben Yahia in the 7th minute of the match. North Petherton United's Hamza Slim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haythem Ben Yahia in the 12th minute of play. Mohamed Baya hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Haythem Ben Yahia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Mohamed Laabidi made a precise shot to the right of Habib Ali Mahouachi. Kingstanding FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hamza Slim made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Adel Mechergui sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Haythem Ben Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamza Slim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to North Petherton United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mohamed Mechergui hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kingstanding FC's zone, Mohamed Laabidi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Habib Ali Mahouachi came out of the goal and Mohamed Laabidi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haythem Ben Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza Slim having to interfere. Adel Mechergui received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hamza Slim came out and tried to block the shot, but Adel Mechergui slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. Adel Mechergui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hamza Slim made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Laabidi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Hamed Hicheri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kingstanding FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hamed Hicheri hit a great ball. Adel Mechergui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamza Slim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Hamza Slim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haythem Ben Yahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adel Mechergui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Laabidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Ali Mahouachi having to interfere. Habib Ali Mahouachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Laabidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamed Hicheri struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hamza Slim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingstanding FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Adel Mechergui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingstanding FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adel Mechergui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamza Slim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Haythem Ben Yahia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamza Slim. North Petherton United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haythem Ben Yahia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kingstanding FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
